  • 2 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup corn kernels
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Add onion carrots corn peas and garlic to the slow cooker.

  3. Whisk butter flour broth milk salt pepper and thyme and pour over chicken.
  4. Cook on low 5 to 6 hours until chicken is tender.
  5. Shred chicken stir well and serve with baked biscuits.
