  • 34 lb beef brisket
  • 3 large onions, sliced
  • 23 sprigs of rosemary
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup beef broth (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Place sliced onions and rosemary at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Rub brown sugar over the brisket and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the brisket on top of the onions.
  4. Pour in beef broth if using.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8–10 hours or high for 5–6 hours.
  6. Remove brisket, slice, and serve with the onion gravy.
