Ingredients

  • 8 hot dogs
  • 8 hot dog buns
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  2. Stir in tomato sauce, kidney beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Simmer 15-20 minutes until thickened.
  3. Cook hot dogs using your preferred method.
