Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 4 pita or flatbreads
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • Fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 cup tzatziki sauce


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add chicken and coat well. Marinate at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat grill or grill pan to medium-high. Cook chicken 6-7 minutes per side until cooked through and charred.
  3. Let chicken rest, then slice thinly.
  4. Prepare vegetables and chop dill.
  5. Warm pita or flatbread on grill.
  6. Assemble: spread tzatziki, add chicken, tomatoes, cucumber, and dill. Serve immediately.
