Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 sub rolls
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Shape into meatballs and place on a baking sheet drizzled with olive oil.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. Heat marinara sauce in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add baked meatballs to sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Fill sub rolls with meatballs and sauce, then top with mozzarella.
  8. Bake for 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with extra parsley before serving.
