Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook 1 lb ground beef, breaking it apart until browned. Add sliced green bell pepper and onion and cook until softened. Drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Add 4 oz cream cheese and stir until fully melted and combined.
  4. Arrange 8 slices provolone on the prepared baking sheet, slightly overlapping to form rectangles. Bake 3 to 5 minutes until melted and flexible.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool 1 minute. Spoon beef mixture onto each cheese rectangle and roll tightly. Place seam side down to set.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Drain beef well to prevent excess moisture.
  • Do not overbake cheese to avoid brittleness.
  • Let cheese cool slightly before rolling.
  • Store leftovers refrigerated up to 4 days.
  • Reheat gently to maintain texture.
