- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1/2 cup yogurt for sauce
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 tbsp lemon juice for sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced for sauce
Instructions
- In a bowl mix 1 cup yogurt, 2 tbsp olive oil, 4 cloves garlic, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp coriander, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp pepper. Add 1 1/2 lbs chicken and marinate at least 1 hour for best flavor.
- Heat a skillet over medium high heat with 1 tbsp oil. Cook chicken for 8 to 10 minutes until browned and fully cooked to 165°F. Let rest 5 minutes before assembling.
- Mix 1/2 cup yogurt, 2 tbsp tahini, 1 tbsp lemon juice, and 1 clove garlic for the sauce. Add 1 to 2 tbsp water if needed to thin.
- Warm 4 flatbreads. Fill each with chicken, sliced tomatoes, red onion, pickled turnips, parsley, and drizzle with sauce.
- Fold and roll tightly. Toast in a skillet 1 to 2 minutes per side for a crisp exterior before slicing and serving.
