- 2 racks baby back ribs (about 4 lbs)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F. Remove membrane from back of 2 racks ribs. Pat dry and brush with 2 tablespoons olive oil.
- Mix 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 tablespoon smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Rub evenly over both sides of ribs.
- Wrap each rack tightly in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 2 1/2 to 3 hours until tender.
- Mix 1 cup barbecue sauce with 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar. Unwrap ribs, brush generously with sauce, and return to oven uncovered at 400°F for 10 to 15 minutes until caramelized.
- Rest ribs for 10 minutes before slicing between bones. Serve warm with extra sauce.
