Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.
  2. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and almond extract.
  4. In a bowl, combine almond flour and all-purpose flour.
  5. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until smooth.
  6. Pour batter into pan and top with sliced almonds.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.
